Occasionally, we offer wigs with more extensive hair shaping, which have been cut on a human head for greater precision. However, any heavy layering or specialized cuts should be done with your face shape in mind for the most natural look. For example, bangs should not be cut until the wig is on your head, as professional haircuts should be tailored to each individual.
When shaping a wig, a mannequin head is often used. Even the slightest adjustment in how the wig sits on the mannequin head can alter the cut of the wig. Therefore, it is important to place the wig on your own head for precise shaping.
All wigs offered by Iron Butterfly Wigs have been trimmed and evened out into a natural basic style. However, some trimming may still be required once it arrives to you to ensure complete evenness after being placed on your head.
